Summing it Up...

Now, that I'm way on the wrong side of sixty, I feel that being true to self is important. "I yam, what I yam." Kindness and smiles are to be given away. Women are strong. Men are more vulnerable than we believe. Husbands may come and go...but one thing I know for sure is that I will NEVAH live without a corgi or coffee in my life if I can prevent it. Come piles of dog fur or hot water!

The Corgis are on the road again~~somebody let the dogs out!

Well....the RV wheels are turning again. We headed over to Findlay, Ohio yesterday to give Mom a hug, and see the sibs, then ended our day near Covington, KY., where we slept in a Cracker Barrel parking lot. (Old habits are hard to break!) Tonight we're in Raccoon Valley, TN., which is an Escapees Campground which means super cheap and excellant facilities. We're near Oak Ridge, TN, which is the homebase for the Oak Ridge boys, country/gospel group. We've enjoyed their concerts over the years. Oak Ridge was also a secret city during WWII, an underground super secret atomic power facility. I'm not sure if it glows at night around here or not. Tomorrow night there's a Bluegrass Jamboree right here in the campground, so we may stay another night to hear them. It's a weekly gathering here of local musicmakers. Sounds like fun. So.........hot showers, cable tv, computer hookup, smelly trails for the dogs with GREEN grass ....something for us all to enjoy tonight. This is livin'!

What could be more fun.........

than a wagonload of corgis??
We'll have an RV full next week as we travel to North Carolina to meet baby Emmy. This week, between coughs, we're packing the Winnebago for a month away and we're getting itchy feet at the thought of traveling again. To be honest, it's hard to leave when Moms' health is somewhat precarious, but the bro's will be giving good care in our sted. We should have quite a collection of baby photos to peruse with her upon our return.

Welcome Little One!

Well, labor began yesterday morning, April got checked out by the doc and sent home to "rest" to await more labor. Today, she's been admitted, water broke, epideral given, and she's waiting to see the face of her own baby girl. She and Keith are pretty tired from 2 days of being awake, but they don't know how tired they'll be during the first 6 weeks of parenthood, do they?

WELCOME TO THE WORLD~~EMERSON GRACE.
You're a vision in PINK!! Grammy will meet you soon!

Y'all come back now...
