Summing it Up...

Now, that I'm way on the wrong side of sixty, I feel that being true to self is important. "I yam, what I yam." Kindness and smiles are to be given away. Women are strong. Men are more vulnerable than we believe. Husbands may come and go...but one thing I know for sure is that I will NEVAH live without a corgi or coffee in my life if I can prevent it. Come piles of dog fur or hot water!

Meeting Chatty Chrone....

I had a very unique, and happy experience this morning while passing through Georgia. Meeting a fellow blogger is NOT something many of us ever get to experience, eventho we say we'd love to, or dream of it.

(Chatty on left.)
Chatty and I began commenting on each other's blogs, and found that our point of view was very similar. Later, that led to emails between us, and more sharing of our lives. This is one neat chick, and I'm so happy, and proud to have met her! That little munchkin' came bearing gifts this morning, as we met at the Cracker Barrel for breakfast just north of Atlanta. She even treated me to breakfast! Sandie...thanks so much for everything. What fun it was to chatter away over coffee today!
The roadside wildflowers decorate the interstate as we head South. Honeysuckle is in full bloom on the fences at rest stops, and oh..so..fragrant. Red rambler roses, clematis, azaleas, all abloom, won't be seen until June in Indiana!

Well isn't that just precious! And to think I was a mere 2,000 miles away on the edge of Texas and didn't even rate a little sidetrip. HMPH.

Ha ha ha ha just ragging on you...

HOW NICE and truly, precious, to meet CC and chat and share in person! Those Georgia Cracker Barrels are good, too!

Oh my gosh - I've got the same picture in my camera - and it looks the same - I thought it was broken (lol). But what a minute there can't be two broken cameras with the same picture!

Oh no look at what an antique there is on the left - I asked Classy Chassy since people like things that are antique - does that include people?

And you are beautiful!

Y'all come back now...

Y'all come back now...

Everyone is special, and counts!
