Summing it Up...

Now, that I'm way on the wrong side of sixty, I feel that being true to self is important. "I yam, what I yam." Kindness and smiles are to be given away. Women are strong. Men are more vulnerable than we believe. Husbands may come and go...but one thing I know for sure is that I will NEVAH live without a corgi or coffee in my life if I can prevent it. Come piles of dog fur or hot water!

Nice!

I've met many a darn nice sista while blogging. It floors me how many talented, industrious people are out there, living lives either so similar or totally diverse from my own...linking up via a comment. The world comes to your computer screen, literally!
Sarah, from Vintage Figments, sent me this wonderful piece of art that she created. I had admired it in a comment, and darn if she didn't send it to me as a gift. I love it. Sarah, thanks so much for your thoughtfulness.

That was pretty nice of her. My hubby drove on Route 66 during the 33 years that he drove Big Rigs...

We are all (corgis and me) glad that he has a job closer to home now and we can see him almost every night now!

We've made a lot of new friends, too, on bloggerland!

Oh your house looks so pretty. I like the containers and pots for the plant and yup, snipping herbs from the pot is so much easier!

Lots of hard work and so much enjoyment. :)
