Summing it Up...

Now, that I'm way on the wrong side of sixty, I feel that being true to self is important. "I yam, what I yam." Kindness and smiles are to be given away. Women are strong. Men are more vulnerable than we believe. Husbands may come and go...but one thing I know for sure is that I will NEVAH live without a corgi or coffee in my life if I can prevent it. Come piles of dog fur or hot water!

Signs, signs, everywhere a sign....

Do you remember that song? If you are over 55, then no doubt that you do.
"Do this, don't do that, can't you read the signs?"

Leaves are changing colors. The apple fruit is beginning to get a blush. Caterpillars, are woolly, dark, and crossing country roads. School starts tomorrow here. There were hardly any kids at the library today, wasting their last day of freedom InSiDe. Holly, at Bannerhaus, formerly Penniwig, has been saying that Autumn has been knocking at the door, and it's true.

Hollyhock gals...your seeds were mailed out today. Expect a lumpy package! The mailman was scratching his head as he weighed them this morning, hee hee!

Herb Fest on Saturday was a nightmare. It rained when we set up and tore down. It rained inbetween. We were soaked, froze, and got wet again. Sales were slow and spotty. Ugh, whatta day. A hot mug of soup and a super hot shower almost made it all go away!
Hope all are doing well. It's almost September! I'm ready to kiss summer goodbye...who's with me?

I know we'll get warm days again and some really hot days in September, but it's cold here today. Actually, cold. It's rainy and long sleeve cotton shirt didn't do it to keep me warm enough. It's a sign that fall is coming. I love the fall, but that which follows is not my friend.

Hey Corgidogmama!

It has finally cooled down some here in West Virginia. Of course it would do that when the kids have to go back to school and can't enjoy it!

Sorry it rained at Herb Fest!

Hugs,
Angela

Ooooh, please promise me some of your Autumn weather? My old brain cells (what's left of them) are frying ... 113-degrees today.
Fall is SO my favorite season! I'm lapping up your pix and descriptives ... won't you keep 'em coming? :)

I am so sorry the fest was not. Bleech. I have tried and tried to send out e-mails, with no success. Even did an internet cafe. So, I am not ignoring you. Weather here has been quite nice. Love...

Oh... I'm so very sorry to hear about your Herb Fest! I hope that you will have other opportunities to sell the things you made.

Yesterday, it was 110 degrees here... I'm glad that summer is almost over, too! At least it's supposed to drop down to the 80's by this weekend.

Dropping by to see what you're up to lately. I ♥ the little birdhouses and, Hollyhocks thoughts. I have some that are spectacular and don't know what I'd do without those old-fashioned flowers in my garden. I try my best to find 'old time' flowers since my home is Edwardian.

Give those little Corgi's of yours a hug and kiss from me. They've been a favorite breed of mine for years. Love those little dudes!

Y'all come back now...
