Summing it Up...

Now, that I'm way on the wrong side of sixty, I feel that being true to self is important. "I yam, what I yam." Kindness and smiles are to be given away. Women are strong. Men are more vulnerable than we believe. Husbands may come and go...but one thing I know for sure is that I will NEVAH live without a corgi or coffee in my life if I can prevent it. Come piles of dog fur or hot water!

There are flowers enough in the summertime,
More flowers than I can remember—
But none with the purple, gold, and red
That dyes the flowers of September!

So true -- the earthy hues of autumn reach into the heart in a way no summer flower can.

Hey Corgidogmama!

Fall is really starting to hit in my area. There has been a real big chance in just the past 2 days. Fall is in the air too!

Love your new background!

Hugs,
Angela

Today at the library the kids and I gazed over this lovely tree that was starting to change colors. We gazed because here in florida we dont see to many purple, golds and reds.Hannah noticed it right away and it reminded me of my past New York tree transformations.Oh so lovely.

The one color missing here in GA are the bright oranges - the ones that the coast and the north has.

Hi CDM,

Thank you for your visit and sweet comment on my blog.

After the heat we have some flowers in a garden, frangipani and wild ones.

Nice; simple and to the point! Love those fall colors. The leaves are just starting to turn a little here and it has been like fall weather.

We now have furnace hooked up--cool and heat. Whooo-hooo! Are we ready for fall or what? Cannot wait for the vibrant red-gold of the sugar maples. After those fall; isn't it April yet?

I don't know a thing about dogs, but you sure have a pretty one. Thanks for stopping by my place :) I love the four seasons, every one of them, though winter can be a little long here in NE Ohio. Just this week our leaves are starting to turn. It's hard to believe how it all changes almost overnight!
