Summing it Up...

Now, that I'm way on the wrong side of sixty, I feel that being true to self is important. "I yam, what I yam." Kindness and smiles are to be given away. Women are strong. Men are more vulnerable than we believe. Husbands may come and go...but one thing I know for sure is that I will NEVAH live without a corgi or coffee in my life if I can prevent it. Come piles of dog fur or hot water!

Bath-time at Grammy and Jim's....

Little Emmy visited all of her Indiana relatives this week, spreading joy and smiles throughout the middle and northern part of state. It took Josh about 10 seconds to fall in love with his new little niece. He was quite smitten! We were lucky enough to have the N.C. kids for an overnight, and lucky too, that it was bath night! We put her in the kitchen sink, just like her Mama and Uncle Josh did when they were babies. Grammy grabbed the camera and Jim got them into the computer, lickedty-split.
Her loving parents hands share the chore, and babygirl came out squeaky clean. It was hard to say goodbyes this morning, as they headed back to N.C., arriving safely home, thirteen hours later.
