Summing it Up...

Now, that I'm way on the wrong side of sixty, I feel that being true to self is important. "I yam, what I yam." Kindness and smiles are to be given away. Women are strong. Men are more vulnerable than we believe. Husbands may come and go...but one thing I know for sure is that I will NEVAH live without a corgi or coffee in my life if I can prevent it. Come piles of dog fur or hot water!

Cabin Fever-Winter Blahs Giveaway!

It's a snowy day here in the Hoosier state this morning. Very pretty.

I want to announce the first, ever, Corgi Dog News Giveaway!

Lucky me, has won three giveaways from blogs that I follow; thanks again to Sunday Baker, Hootin' Annie, and dear Penniwig. Who doesn't like winning a little "sumpthin' something" once in a while?

Here's the deal~It's Winter. Cabin Fever strikes. The blahs set in.

You sign on with a comment to this post to enter. Please enter once. If, you add a link on your blog sharing info about this giveaway, you sign in again, for two entries. Please take the prize photo too for your blog.
Very simple!

The anti-blah kit includes:

A 500 piece puzzle with a snowy barn scene; a new deck of Coca Cola playing cards; a cozy paperback scrapbooking mystery by Laura Childs (with scrapbooking tips and recipes included!) a box of Swiss Miss hot cocoa with marshmallows; plus, just to keep you from feeling sluggish during the winter---a Chocolate Brownie Bar by gnu foods, a high fiber bar, full of flavor! (Visit their website, I've just discovered them and it's fun.)

I hope that you enter, and I hope too, that you'll spread the word. Entries begin, NOW, and will close on Friday, January 16th, at high noon! The winner will be selected by the corgi kids; they don't have thumbs, but are able to do a lot in spite of this ~
You'll be contacted by email, and by an announcement post sometime later that day.
So! Enter, spread word, win, and enjoy these winter pastime helpers!

Hugs, Corgidogmama

We love giveaways! (We never win but we love to play!BOL!). Please enter us in your game and Mum says to tell you that she has put you at the top of her blog in a new post at http://dozerandcoop.blogspot.com/ and that she borrowed your picture from your post and she hopes that is okay. She is also adding you to her list of doggie bloggy friends so she can check in on you regularly because she is an arthritic (big time)old lady with grandchildren who is questioning why she lives in one of the dampest states in the Union. But she still is able to work 5 days a week to buy us kibble so we think she is doing fine. We could use a few more treats but pretty much she and our old geezer of a Dad are keeping us in the style to which we deserve.

Love, Dozer, Cooper and Dottie

Well, I've never entered a Blog Giveaway before. Are we supposed to write on the winter Blah's or just write a reply?

I have to say it's hard to feel to blah in Georgia in the winter time, but I do have empathy. I was born and raised in Chicago!

I'll try to put it on my Blog - not sure how to link it - I'm still learning.

It's my birthday, so I'll give this a try. I live less than a mile from the Canadian border so I guess I really DO qualify for Cabin Fever! Love that Corgi. I'm mom to a retriever and a shepherd.

It's cold enough for me without snow. What you think I live in the SOUTH for? I do get the winter blahs and could use a little distraction.
