Summing it Up...

Now, that I'm way on the wrong side of sixty, I feel that being true to self is important. "I yam, what I yam." Kindness and smiles are to be given away. Women are strong. Men are more vulnerable than we believe. Husbands may come and go...but one thing I know for sure is that I will NEVAH live without a corgi or coffee in my life if I can prevent it. Come piles of dog fur or hot water!

A dear friend sent me this....

There comes a point in your life when you realize:
Who matters,
Who never did,
Who won't anymore...
And who always will..
So, don't worry about people from your past,
there's a reason why they didn't make it to your future..

Thanks Chatty....this one hit home! ZING!

Mum said to tell you she really loves the quote and she is sending it to a bunch of her girl friends. (You would think she could at least mention us but nooo, it's all about girlfriends!).

Some friends are for a time,
Some for a reason,
Some are forever,
Some for a season.

The greatest compliment that was ever paid me was when someone asked me what I thought, and attended to my answer. ~ Henry David Thoreau

Corgi Dog Mama, I think this is what girlfriends do for each other - especially the good caring ones.

You're a caring friend to people, I know.

Hope you have fun with your old friends today.

Honey stomp the dust off yer feet! Get the cobwebs out of yer mind! I think that is what Chatty's advice is doing for ye, anyway...I think the most interesting line of that advice is "Who won't anymore..."

LOL...hmm...

Yep, but sometimes the memories of the ones who didn't make it to your future just won't get the b---k out of your life...lol...
I hope I am a keeper cause I knew you are.
