Summing it Up...

Now, that I'm way on the wrong side of sixty, I feel that being true to self is important. "I yam, what I yam." Kindness and smiles are to be given away. Women are strong. Men are more vulnerable than we believe. Husbands may come and go...but one thing I know for sure is that I will NEVAH live without a corgi or coffee in my life if I can prevent it. Come piles of dog fur or hot water!

Finished Project...

Ok...it's done. Not great, but finished. White paper doilies in the background, chipboard "family" words and old stamps, on top of the glass, giving it a slight 3-D effect. Yes, old Dame, I used the little 6-inch tripod...but, they still turned out raunchy. Get the flail...
It was my first attempt, not perfect...but it'll look good on the wall in our bedroom, where family pics should be.

I really like your project, especially the embellishments that are slightly off kilter and unexpected. Why did that crafty gene skip me completely? :)

Looks awesome.

Nice way to 'capture' your memories and be able to see them as you walk by. A positive re-enforcement. Your strong history of family and love.

Hello,
Since I just discovered your blog a few days ago I have been catching up on your older blogs. What a hoot! We live in Milk Bone underpants at our house also! I was telling my husband about your blog, he grinned and said they are our kind of people. We love to get off the beaten path also. Do you think you will be campground hosts again the year? If so we will load the doxies in the surburban and come and see you.
