What kind of garden decor would a menopausal mama have? Old Crow of course! The corgi kids and I have been outside puttering in the yard since we got home it seems. Today I dragged out the hose, which had some loose connections over winter in the shed. The kids got sprayed a little.
Jake is happiest when he has a ball to chase which keeps him trim. Addie doesn't play unless she is taunting Jake...then, will shake her bum, and her head with one of his toys in a game of keep away.
The garden flag came from ebay years ago...they didn't have any black headed tris though.
On the radio today they were talking about making a "Wish List" for your life, and the importance of doing it...like...NOW.
If you want to learn a new language, by learning just one word each day, by the end of the year, your repertoire would be pretty impressive! Which one would you choose?
If you want to learn to knit, or volunteer at concerts (you can see the show free), or take an aquacise class at the Y...don't wait. No one is promised tomorrow, we only have the present. That's going to be my new mantra...do more, whine less. Me? I'm going to investigate the Y offerings in our county seat, 14 miles south. Pool exercise is good for gimpy old ladies.
Maybe, spending so much time outside is giving me a sunny attitude?
Egad...there goes my reputation!

I love the little garden flag! Imagine a corgi on a flag! Only on Ebay!
What a beautiful yard you have. I love the gardens you've made -- but I bet your KNEES don't!!!
Good Gracious you do sound like you are ready to tackle the world and all your goals! Let me know how that acquacise class goes...

Speaking of aquacise classes...do you recall where you got the swimsuit that you were sporting here in FLA? I haven't worn a swimsuit in (literally) a decade but I think it's time to get over it and get back in the pool. I really like the one that you had, so I'm looking for a similar one. We made reservations for Fort Desoto next month, a trial run with the new camper before we undertake the 2400 mile round trip trek in July.
It looks so bright and fun there now. I love your flower beds are those daylilies?
I used to go to the pool and exercise, but since my bolt with this crud, I haven't been able to go. Can't wait to get back in the swim.

I love your sunny disposition, and with all the talk of pools and sunshine, you may as well be in Tampa!
Warmly,
Christiane
Love your garden - you sure have been working a lot. Think you got some sunshine - Vitamin D - and all is good to go.
Great about the YMCA - yes water aquacise classes are the best. You'll meet new friends and have new experiences as well.
And you have always had a sunny personality. Things might be tough - but you are tougher.
You're right - why put off living?
Love your garden - and the deflated dog ball too - it must have gotten a lot of use! I envy your lawn - looks so lush and green compared to our campground full of leaves and dirt!!! But, we don't have to mow the entire yard - just where it grew up higher than the rest of the sprigs of green!
yard is lookin' good. should have had you do ours while you were here!
Uplifting post and good ideas.
