I don't want to offend anyone, but sheesh, June is a great time in NE Indiana.
Things just pop...here's our veggie garden this year, on the deck. I didn't have enough oomph to dig up the flower beds, so took the easy way out. The pot of herbs is so handy. I just come out with scissors in hand, and clip what's needed.
Somebody asked me what a corn lily was...here they are. I dug these up decades ago along the roadside.
There are signs of a corgi kingdom throughout the yard. Corgis rule, plain and simple.
Dolly, Jim's mom dog will be going back to Colorado on Saturday. Traveling in the motorhome made it easier for Mom to bring her dog, and to see more of America with her son.
A chaotic, cottage garden...shabby for sure! Hmmm...what does that say about us?
I plant weeds too...by digging up Queen Anne's Lace from the roadside years ago. It tends to take over, so it got thinned out last Fall. They're so pretty when they blow gracefully in the wind.
This is what the other side of 720 square feet looks like in bloom. By July things should really be full and blooming.
Sigh...the weeds should kick in by then as well!

Lovely place you have there - the garden with the rocks around it reminds me of ours over here! I enjoyed looking at the pics - thanks for sharing it!
What a cozy abode you have with a fantastic garden! Everything looks so green and healthy!!
I used to have a teeny house, too. And it was ORANGE, on top of being teeny. But you know, it had the BEST floorplan and it did not seem very squinchy!
Your house is just darling! It is painted so cute and I love the flowerbeds! The cut-out corgi is adorable.
I see you are a plant thief, I mean, relocater...LOL...hope you get a pic of the Queen Anne's Lace when it blooms!
You have such beautiful gardens and yard. Would you like to visit me and FIX my yard? It's always a work in progress. Thanks for sharing!
I grew up in the Midwest but I never heard the term "corn lily" before. We always called them "Tiger Lilies". My hubby - before we married - stopped on the road side once and surprised me by bringing a bouquet of Tiger Lilies home to me (I had mentioned I always loved them.) Whatever they are called they are beautiful flowers.

What a cute little cottage home you have! Your landscaping is beautiful and I love that rock edging. I also love your header....I used to have an old chair that I used as a planter when I lived in NC.
