Summing it Up...

Now, that I'm way on the wrong side of sixty, I feel that being true to self is important. "I yam, what I yam." Kindness and smiles are to be given away. Women are strong. Men are more vulnerable than we believe. Husbands may come and go...but one thing I know for sure is that I will NEVAH live without a corgi or coffee in my life if I can prevent it. Come piles of dog fur or hot water!

Dog Day!

Jim's Mom from Colorado is visiting and her golden retriever Dolly came along. She's a blonde and so, so sweet. All three dogs are getting along amazingly well. Today they had a field trip. Three dogs in the back of a Chevy Tracker! They had a good run on the wide open prairie behind our local high school. Their smiles were wide, and their tongues were hanging by the time we left.

We went to see the recently sheared sheep.

All the dogs took a turn sticking their head out for a peep. The sheep were snoozing in the sunshine.

The dogs waited patiently while we hit the quilt shop, and stopped at a garage sale.

They had a fun day, and came home exhausted. We've been stepping over logs of dogs in the middle of the floor.
>We have three people and three dogs in our (720 square foot) cottage on the hill. Hope the walls don't bulge!
The weather is perfect,

and the roses are blooming. The hollyhocks are budded, and the corn lilies should bloom any day. I love June, don't you?

I love reading about your neck of the woods. It's all crispy here but I can just imagine those corn lilies and hollyhocks about to bloom!

Yep - happy faces!!! I like the shorn sheep photo - they'll be nice and clean for a while! Wonder if the owners do that themselves - or if they have someone come in to do it? I imagine it takes some strength to man-handle sheep for sheering - Can't see a sheep sitting still for that procedure on its own!

What fun it seems at your house with company and all those cute little furry friends.

They look like they are having such a good time. Guess they all get a long.

I bet everyone was tired.

Y'all come back now...
