Summing it Up...
Now, that I'm way on the wrong side of sixty, I feel that being true to self is important. "I yam, what I yam." Kindness and smiles are to be given away. Women are strong. Men are more vulnerable than we believe. Husbands may come and go...but one thing I know for sure is that I will NEVAH live without a corgi or coffee in my life if I can prevent it. Come piles of dog fur or hot water!

The Apple Dumpling Gang...
These two are the reason that I flew down to Chapel Hill following a twelve year lapse in air travel.
These two make me smile and feel whole. We giggle, and play, and just hang out.
April understands that a drive-through is necessary for her mama to have her coffee fix. Emmy is a real hoot, and is going to have an outrageous sense of humor. She loves books, "snacks" (all from Trader Joe's and healthy), swinging at the park, anything pink, ruffly skirts and Dora. She yells for her Daddy when she sees a bug.
She begins every sentence with "Oh Mommy...". I really love that kid, and her mama.
North Carolina is entirely too far away from Indiana. Maybe the Army Corps of Engineers can do something about that...?

I'm glad to hear you're having a good time! We all need a break from our hum-drum lives now and then. That is how we know real joy.
