Summing it Up...

Now, that I'm way on the wrong side of sixty, I feel that being true to self is important. "I yam, what I yam." Kindness and smiles are to be given away. Women are strong. Men are more vulnerable than we believe. Husbands may come and go...but one thing I know for sure is that I will NEVAH live without a corgi or coffee in my life if I can prevent it. Come piles of dog fur or hot water!

Watch out...curves ahead!

Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter.
~Mark Twain
I'm not going to feel bad about gray hair and wrinkles. I've earned them all. However...I'm too dang chubby, and found a group of gals who are fighting the flab together. I signed on, and we'll weigh in each Tuesday. If you'd like to join us, visit My little Cottage in the making, scroll down until you find the pic on the blog, and sign up babycakes!

You don't stop laughing because you grow old. You grow old because you stop laughing.
~Michael Pritchard

I'm a little bit older, a little bit wiser, a little bit rounder, but still none the wiser.
~Robert Paul

Resolutions that I HOPE I can keep: take vitamins,
live by portion control, move more, and smile.. dagnabit!

Ha ha, that last bit of your resolution made ME smile, anyway!

*sigh* I might try that "portion control" too. My idea of portion control is when I eat an entire box of Frosted Cheerios, and there isn't another box to start on, too. See? Portion control. Just one box.

You are quite impressive with your Blog, how you find other Blogs, and how you continuously change and add to your Blog.

Curves Ahead - I love it!!!!

And you are right - old age is a state of mind.

I am replying to you from my Blog. You are absolutely correct in what you say - but it's so hard when a child is involved - you know? Thanks so much for your wonderful words of support. You are right about it being a bumpy ride - but it has to be done so I'm going to fasten my seat belt.

Y'all come back now...
