Summing it Up...

Now, that I'm way on the wrong side of sixty, I feel that being true to self is important. "I yam, what I yam." Kindness and smiles are to be given away. Women are strong. Men are more vulnerable than we believe. Husbands may come and go...but one thing I know for sure is that I will NEVAH live without a corgi or coffee in my life if I can prevent it. Come piles of dog fur or hot water!

This message is not for everyone...

These quotes are very important for women. These are words to live by. Being a woman, especially a woman who has any sort of baggage attached, these words are vital for survival.

It's so easy to put ourselves last. It's easier to let others take charge, make the decisions, and lead us. It's easier because it keeps peace in the house. It's easier because upheaval and change are undesirable, and not worth the pain to go through. Sometimes.
We need to stop and think and evaluate our lives. If there is a sadness, that goes everywhere we go; that never goes away; if we never soar, and feel no joy....our gut is talking to us.

Listen ladies....and remember these quotes. Listen when your gut is talking...when your head aches, when your body aches, when your stomach is in knots, and you can't deep breathe freely. Somebody, inside you, is trying to tell you something. A dear friend, who cares, a great deal for you. Listen to her!

I love what you have to say and you are 100% correct.

So easy to put ourselves last. Do things we don't want to do to save or keep peace.

It is just trying to remember these things when you need them! And not letting someone else deem them stupid and believing them.

I keep forgetting that deep breathe sometimes.

Halloo dearie...my yer blog is looking so nice...

Do you remember that old song, I think it was "Sunshine" and it had a refrain: "And you can't even run your own life, I'll be d*mned if you'll run mine!" LOL. Reminds me of that second quote.

Easter is just bearing down like a runaway bunny...two more days...
