Summing it Up...

Now, that I'm way on the wrong side of sixty, I feel that being true to self is important. "I yam, what I yam." Kindness and smiles are to be given away. Women are strong. Men are more vulnerable than we believe. Husbands may come and go...but one thing I know for sure is that I will NEVAH live without a corgi or coffee in my life if I can prevent it. Come piles of dog fur or hot water!

Birthday Boy!

How can Josh be 35 today? His mama is only 39.....ok, like for the 18th time, but still....where did those 35 years go?

He's at his special camp all this week, in a cabin on the lake, North of here about forty miles. He's attended the past eighteen years.
It's his favorite week of the year, and he gleans as much happiness out of it as he can.His Jenny goes there as well, so believe me, that boy is smiling, and will be all week!

Happy 35th Josh!!! May you have many, many more!

Hope J&J have a great week at the camp, I love traditions like that!!!

I think I will copy Josh and try to glean as much happiness as I can from this summer and all my days on this earth.

Isn't it horrible when your kids catch up with you in age? I have one that I think will be passing me in a couple of years☺

Yes, Happy Birthday, Josh and so glad you are able to go to a favorite place!

I know what you mean... MY oldest is 37 now. THAT is ONLY 3 years to 40, and 3 years now-a-days is NOT very long!!! Shoot, my BABY is 27. I don't tend to feel to old until I look at their ages, or at some of those super cute singers and stars I had a crush on in my teen years.... :(

Y'all come back now...

Everyone is special, and counts!
