Summing it Up...

Now, that I'm way on the wrong side of sixty, I feel that being true to self is important. "I yam, what I yam." Kindness and smiles are to be given away. Women are strong. Men are more vulnerable than we believe. Husbands may come and go...but one thing I know for sure is that I will NEVAH live without a corgi or coffee in my life if I can prevent it. Come piles of dog fur or hot water!

(12/30)

Blessings..............hmmm.............it's been a tough day in little ol' Indiana. Our stress levels are through the roof.

Penniwig saved the day because her lovely wreath arrived in today's mail. That, and only that, am I thankful for today.

Ok, it was a pretty day, and we ate Chinese out for supper, that was good...but, the rest of it sucked, big time, and I'm not kidding.

And THAT is the story of Jack and the Beanstalk.
Amen!

Sorry that the day was tough going. Hoping that tomorrow -- and the days that follow -- will be brighter. Love the picture of your sweet ballerina. That makes my day!

Sigh...Ok my dear friend "JACK" perhaps with the beans from your beanstalk and the "NUTS" from my place we can make Green Bean Almondine! We continue to wait...I knew we should have come and helped move boxes...or perhaps we shall come and climb the beanstalk! Ok...So to prove it is totally NUTS here.... after 24 hours of Pictocin and 12 hours of Cervidex....Jalina Rose refuses to enter the world...although she did enjoy the Country Music Awards (danced around happily in Mommys Tummy). That is it Sista...save us some soup...we're on our way to visit!

Ooh the wreath is beautiful! I also really like the new set up of your blog too. I was looking at your previous post...and that soup sounds really awesome and crockpot worthy:D.

Hope you are having a good day.

It is amazing that when the day is so bad - there is still one or two bright little spots! I'm glad you could find them.

Are you still being thankful this month? Even for a sucky day??? Hope tomorrow goes better.

I'm sorry to hear you had a bad day. Since you're the kind of gal who takes great satisfaction in almost everything, it must have been really bad.

Don't despair. You have your Thanksgiving countdown!

I sure hope today was better for you. It's not fun having ONE OF THOSE DAYS!

Those days kind of make you even more thankful for the better ones!

I, too, hope and pray that the rest of your week goes well, and I'm glad that you were at least still looking for that thin silver lining in an otherwise dark day. That lining always points the way to hope that the sun is just around the corner. Linda
