Summing it Up...

Now, that I'm way on the wrong side of sixty, I feel that being true to self is important. "I yam, what I yam." Kindness and smiles are to be given away. Women are strong. Men are more vulnerable than we believe. Husbands may come and go...but one thing I know for sure is that I will NEVAH live without a corgi or coffee in my life if I can prevent it. Come piles of dog fur or hot water!

Some tidbits...

Lil' Emmy called her Grammy tonight to tell me about her breakfast with Santa experience yesterday. Oh me oh my....here's what I got out of our conversation..."ummmmmmmmm, Santa, Dora, purple, red, potty, cheesy broccoli soup, Santa, Cinderella, ice, ummmmmmmm." She hit the highlights....Disney on Ice Show, lunch, what color Santa's suit was, and that she was a big girl on the potty! She'll be three on February 7th, so as you can imagine, her thoughts go faster than her words can come out. Oh what fun this time of year is for the short ones, huh?

Jim spent four full days at home, enjoying some much needed, and overdue, R&R. He left today and should be home in time for Christmas Eve and Christmas. The corgi kids were happy to have him around to rub their tummies; nobody does it like their Daddy!

Our daughter in law has a new Christmas CD out. If you'd like to go visit their site and listen to samples Click here.

Atlanta is not the worst or the best water.

So you understood everything Emmy had to say - she is so cute.

Glad you hubby got some R&R. I know he wants to be home for Christmas.

Praise God for answered prayers... So happy for you and Jim that he made it home safely and had the chance to rest up a bit. Hope his cold is over, too, and I'll bet the pups were dancing on their toes to see him!

Isn't it fun to try to interpret the babble of the littlest ones? One of my phone callers is 13 months and another is almost 3. Just love to hear those little voices!

Yer water list is ALL WRONG!!! Midland Texas has got to have the worst danged water on the planet. It's so bad it can't be worse. It eats thru pipes...puts a white powder on everything it touches...it smells...they send letters constantly warning us not to drink it...it's filled with petroleum products...ARGH...every drop we drink is from special filtering stores...

pshew, I got kind of wild there...the water is just SO bad...

Glad Jim was home for a bit! The road is a tough and lonely place...hard way to make a living...hard times...

Well, I'm glad that Georgia doesn't have the best or the worst water. That's good to know!

Those cookies sounded good though I don't know if I'll ever have the time to make it.

Y'all come back now...
